Join our beginner’s trip to work on whitewater kayaking skills, experience an incredible river and meet fellow paddlers!

We’ll be meeting at the takeout at 10:30 Saturday morning. It’s about 1.5 hours from Lexington, so if you want to drive in that morning it shouldn’t be difficult. See below for camping details.

Getting to the takeout involves a lake shuttle on the Cumberland Star. Please bring $20 to cover shuttle costs. You can pay Saturday morning, no problem.

Camping: Some of us will be camping at Sheltowee Trace Adventure Resort Friday night and Saturday night. You can contact them to reserve camping at 606-526-7238 or at https://www.ky-rafting.com Most of us will probably be in the “Primitive Drive-Up Sites” or the “Platform Tent Sites”, they’re in the same area. Of course, you can camp wherever you like.
